Fullstack QA Engineer

Location: Worldwide. Work options include fully remote, office-based, or hybrid arrangements.

Salary: EUR 2,400–3,900 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated API, integration, and end-to-end tests using Java, REST Assured, and TestNG.
• Maintain test automation frameworks, reusable QA libraries, regression suites, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing of APIs, backend services, and integrations.
• Analyze requirements and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications to define test coverage, risks, dependencies, and automation scope.
• Validate API behavior, integration flows, and data consistency across user interfaces, APIs, databases, and integrated systems.
• Investigate defects, support contract and component testing, coordinate performance testing, and contribute to release-readiness decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-stack QA experience covering manual testing and Java-based test automation.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications, backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and end-to-end user flows.
• Experience with Java API and integration automation, REST Assured or similar libraries, JUnit or TestNG, Maven or Gradle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of microservice architectures, distributed environments, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, SQL, application logs, and browser developer tools.
• Experience maintaining regression suites and pipelines, working in Agile/Scrum teams, and collaborating with Developers and Product Owners.
• English: Upper-Intermediate level or higher required.

Nice to have

• UI test automation experience.
• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, observability, and API contract-testing tools.
