Backend Developer (.NET) to work on-site in Abu Dhabi

Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Salary: EUR 2,000–3,500 gross per month

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services and REST APIs for a case management platform using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Implement case lifecycles, routing and assignment rules, statuses, SLAs, and notifications.
• Integrate the platform with internal systems and third-party services.
• Design and optimize database structures and queries with Entity Framework Core and SQL.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, frontend and QA engineers, and support releases and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core and relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in an Agile team and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher and availability for on-site work in Abu Dhabi are required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working for a UAE-based company.
• Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Experience building backends for mobile applications.
