Senior Service Reliability Engineer

What you will do

• Lead improvements in service reliability and scalability for cloud gaming services.
• Own production stability, operational readiness, production code quality, and deployments.
• Influence architecture and implementation decisions across the division.
• Define reliability KPIs and support continuous improvement with SRE management.
• Lead small-scale projects from inception through implementation and provide technical leadership for platform-wide solutions.
• Mentor junior SRE staff and represent SRE and operational scalability across the wider organisation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development and/or Linux systems administration.
• Proficiency as a Linux production systems engineer managing large-scale web services infrastructure.
• Development experience with Python, Bash, Go, Java, C++, or Rust; Python is preferred.
• Experience with at least three areas including distributed storage, NoSQL, data aggregation, highly available relational databases, monitoring and alerting, Kubernetes or AWS, software distribution, configuration management, or performance analysis.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.
