Software Engineer II: R&D Hardware Verification (C++/Python)

Location: Onsite in Belo Horizonte, Brazil at Av Contorno 5800, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais.

What you will do

• Develop firmware for a highly parallel distributed system.
• Develop, test, validate, deploy, and debug firmware for the Palladium hardware emulation system.
• Contribute to R&D for the next generation of the emulation system.
• Provide customer support and create tools for debugging system failures.
• Collaborate with integrated teams around the world in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, advanced data structures, and algorithms, including graph algorithms and fundamentals.
• Knowledge of C++ or Python.
• Knowledge of Linux and Unix environment management.
• Very good spoken and written English and Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science.
• Experience with Perforce version control and Tcl or Python scripting environments.
• Experience with simulation, emulation, EDA, or VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL.
• Knowledge of the Linux kernel, kernel drivers, Linux setup, or Linux builds.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI, Ethernet, InfiniBand, or RoCE.
