Business Intelligence Intern

Location: Hybrid in Denver, Colorado, with in-office work required Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States and be currently authorized to work there on a full-time basis.

Salary: $27.31 per hour. This is a full-time, 12-week summer internship during 2027.

What you will do

• Conduct exploratory data analysis and create ad hoc reports to answer business questions.
• Support the creation, migration, and improvement of business intelligence dashboards using Looker and Databricks.
• Gather dashboard requirements and build clear data visualizations.
• Test dashboards for accuracy, usability, and consistency.
• Document findings and issues while collaborating with teammates on ongoing business initiatives.

Requirements

• Be a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, statistics, or a related field.
• Basic SQL or Python skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Ability to work with data, identify inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to ask questions and document findings clearly.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to implement ideas from start to finish.
• Must live in the United States and be authorized to work there full-time.

Nice to have

• Exposure to business intelligence platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
