Product Manager (Networking + CDN)

Location: San Francisco, CA with a hybrid schedule; in-office anchor days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for employees within commuting distance of offices in San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin. Employees located beyond the commuting distance may work fully remotely.

Base pay: $208,000–$312,000 per year in San Francisco; compensation may be adjusted based on employee location.

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Networking and CDN.
• Evolve service mesh, Perimeters, ingress, caching, traffic security, WAF, DDoS mitigation, and domain products.
• Define new features, product surfaces, and pricing for products and capabilities.
• Partner with Engineering on product performance and reliability.
• Work with Enterprise customers and field teams on connectivity, networking, performance, and security requirements.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping networking, CDN infrastructure, service mesh, or private connectivity products.
• Technical depth in service-to-service networking, VPC connectivity, HTTP caching semantics, cache invalidation, TLS, DNS, and global request routing.
• Experience with Layer 7 security products such as WAF, DDoS mitigation, or bot management.
• Understanding of networking and routing challenges when composing independently deployed services into applications.
• Experience owning connected products, setting direction for multiple product teams, and using usage, reliability, and performance data to guide roadmaps.
• Experience working directly with Enterprise customers on networking, connectivity, and security requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience at a cloud provider or with serverless, container, or edge compute platforms.
• Engineering experience or experience operating production network infrastructure.
• Experience with incident response, postmortems, compliance, or enterprise security procurement.
