Game Designer (Unreal Engine 5)

Location: Hybrid work in Warsaw or Kraków, Poland

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Game Director and Game Design team on design decisions for a large AAA first-person shooter.
• Own and communicate the vision for major design initiatives, new features, and substantial game system overhauls.
• Lead brainstorming and playtest sessions and coordinate engineers, artists, and producers.
• Drive complex and impactful game areas with minimal oversight.
• Analyze internal and external metrics and feedback to adjust design and game balance.
• Contribute to prototyping, balancing, and gameplay tuning.

Requirements

• Experience designing first-person or third-person shooter games.
• Full-cycle and multidisciplinary game development experience, including at least one shipped title as a game designer.
• Knowledge of 3D level and game design tools and editors, primarily Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong creative, organizational, communication, quality, and technical detail skills.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and software.
• Proficiency in English for verbal, written, and technical communication.
