Senior Implementation Engineer (Applications, Networks, Infra, and Cloud Experience) / Airport & Airline Experience Is a Must

Location: Doha, Qatar. The role is split approximately 50% between the hirify.global office and customer sites, with up to 25% travel for projects outside Doha, primarily within the MEA region.

What you will do

• Implement, configure, integrate, test, and support end-to-end airport and airline technology solutions.
• Work across applications, networks, servers, infrastructure, security, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Translate business and technical requirements into implementation plans and coordinate integration with connected systems.
• Own installation, configuration, testing, go-live readiness, deployment, and transition-to-support activities.
• Act as the on-site technical and functional focal point for customers and coordinate go-live and post-implementation support.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, documentation, solution performance, and continuous-improvement opportunities with Delivery, Product, Support, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience implementing and supporting infrastructure platforms, application deployments, or integrated systems across multiple project lifecycles.
• Mandatory experience implementing technology solutions in airport environments with knowledge of airport and airline operations, workflows, and system interdependencies.
• Hands-on knowledge of networking, Microsoft infrastructure, servers, applications, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and security technologies, including Cisco and Palo Alto environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical and integration issues and coordinating resolution across multiple teams.
• Understanding of implementation governance, risk and issue management, change control, documentation, testing, go-live, and transition-to-support.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Project management certification or practical experience with formal project-management methods.
• CCNA, Cisco, Microsoft, cloud, or security certifications.
