What you will do
- Lead the local risk function and establish independent second-line oversight across OKX Türkiye.
- Own the enterprise risk management framework, policies, risk register, risk appetite, limits, and key risk indicators.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments and challenge control effectiveness, residual risk, and remediation progress.
- Advise senior management, the Risk Committee, and the Board through decision-focused risk reporting.
- Oversee technology, cybersecurity, data, crypto custody, outsourcing, third-party, capital, liquidity, market, credit, and counterparty risks.
- Lead oversight of operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, new product risks, incidents, and regulatory findings.
Requirements
- Valid Capital Market Activities Level 3 Licence (Sermaye Piyasası Faaliyetleri Düzey 3 Lisansı) is required.
- Approximately 10 years of relevant risk management experience in financial services or capital markets, including senior leadership or ownership of a risk function.
- Strong knowledge of Turkish capital markets regulation and the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
- Expertise in enterprise and operational risk, outsourcing governance, operational resilience, and financial risk.
- Experience presenting to Boards and senior committees, engaging regulators, and influencing international stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related discipline; fluent Turkish and English; fluent use of AI tools for risk analysis and reporting.
Nice to have
- Brokerage or crypto asset platform experience, including custody.
- FRM, CFA, or CAMS certification.
