Senior/Staff Embedded Software Engineer (Camera Systems)

What you will do

• Lead the development and integration of camera subsystems for current and next-generation autonomous drones.
• Design, bring up, configure, and optimize ISP, camera, and encoder pipelines.
• Develop image-processing algorithms for autonomous flight applications across CPU, DSP, GPU, and ISP pipelines.
• Bring up and debug new hardware platforms and prototypes.
• Collaborate with image quality, calibration, and test teams to deliver production-ready camera software.
• Support the camera-system lifecycle from requirements definition and hardware bring-up through tuning, validation, and mass production.

Requirements

• Proven ISP development experience on ARM-based Linux or Android SoCs, especially Qualcomm platforms.
• Deep understanding of ISP pipeline architecture, including front-end, Bayer processing, and post-processing.
• Experience developing real-time 3A algorithms and image-processing solutions across CPU, DSP, GPU, and ISP pipelines.
• Familiarity with Android Camera HAL3, Linux V4L2, AVC, HEVC, GStreamer, and GPU shader-based image-processing implementations.
• Strong embedded development experience with physical hardware, hardware bring-up, low-level debugging, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in modern C++ for real-time embedded environments and Python scripting and development.
