What you will do
- Design, maintain, and execute automated and manual tests for iOS and Android applications.
- Build and maintain mobile automation suites with XCUITest and Espresso on real devices and emulators.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability, and end-to-end testing.
- Diagnose failures, investigate defects, and collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause analysis.
- Develop test plans, test cases, test procedures, and release-quality reports.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support quality practices across the Agile lifecycle.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building or maintaining mobile application automation frameworks.
- Advanced hands-on experience with XCUITest and Espresso, including framework development, debugging, maintenance, and CI execution.
- Strong experience testing iOS and Android applications, including mobile platforms, device fragmentation, networking, permissions, notifications, deep links, and app lifecycle behavior.
- Ability to independently create test plans and risk-based coverage strategies from product requirements.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development, frequent production releases, Jira, Confluence, and test-management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience testing social, community, messaging, or user-generated content platforms at scale.
- Experience testing iOS, Android, web, and mobile web.
- Experience with API testing, backend validation, experiments, feature flags, personalization, feeds, and notifications.
