Senior Technical Artist (Unity): Building and maintaining asset integration pipelines and artist tools for the Monopoly GO! mobile game with an accent on Unity, C#, AI-assisted production, shaders, and graphical optimization. Focus on leading technical artists, integrating 2D and 3D assets, and solving performance and pipeline challenges across art and engineering.

What you will do
- Build and maintain asset integration pipelines between external art software and the Unity development environment.
- Develop C# tools, AI-assisted tools, and internal solutions that improve artist workflows and production pipelines.
- Lead and mentor a small team of technical artists while coordinating between art and engineering departments.
- Integrate UI, 2D, 3D, animation, materials, particle systems, timelines, cinematic content, lighting, and third-party plugins in Unity.
- Write HLSL and Shader Graph shaders and optimize graphical, memory, and CPU performance.
- Manage versioned asset repositories and document pipelines, integrations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in technical art and team leadership or mentoring.
- Previous professional experience with Unity and mobile games.
- Knowledge of asset importing and exporting, repository management, optimization, and pipeline creation.
- Experience with UI/UX design and 2D illustration tools such as Photoshop, Figma, or Illustrator.
- Experience with generative AI tools and AI-driven production pipelines.
- Very strong English communication skills and availability for hybrid work in Barcelona, Spain.
