QA Research Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Execute manual and automated test cases for web services and desktop applications.
• Discover, document, and track defects through the development and release lifecycle.
• Design automated tests and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows and collaborate with developers in an agile environment.
• Participate in requirements testing and continuously improve QA methodologies and processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience in agile teams, with a strong focus on desktop application testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing theory and QA best practices for web services applications.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Pytest or Playwright for React test automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of distributed architectures and ecosystems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, mentoring, and QA process ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go, Ruby, or React for codebase understanding and debugging.
• Performance and stress testing experience for web services.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Bruno.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
