Credit Controller

Location: Riga, Latvia

Base salary: €1,733–€2,600 gross per month

hirify.global, a Mollie company, provides a global bank payments platform for recurring and one-off payments through Direct Debit, real-time payments, and open banking.

What you will do

• Contact customers to collect overdue payments and resolve outstanding invoices.
• Respond to merchant billing and credit queries while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Create, distribute, and analyse reports on outstanding debt, incoming payments, and aging accounts.
• Allocate customer payments, calculate account balances, and support account reconciliations.
• Manage payment plans and recommend credit notes or other arrangements for management approval.
• Track collection activity and payment reminders, escalating cases to senior credit controllers when required.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and confident written and verbal communication.
• Experience or studies in finance, accounting, or another numerically demanding discipline.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and resolve billing and credit queries.
• Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Interest in developing a career in credit control or finance.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in credit control.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce, Looker, Billing Platform, or DocuSign CLM.
