TL;DR
Finance Manager (IFRS/SAP): Overseeing financial governance, statutory reporting, compliance, and performance for multiple European legal entities with an accent on IFRS, local GAAP, tax compliance, and cross-border stakeholder management. Focus on coordinating audits, leading finance transformation projects, managing local finance resources, and improving reporting and accounting processes across a matrix organization.

Location: Based in Annecy, France; regular travel across Europe approximately once per month.

What you will do

  • Own financial management, governance, and compliance for multiple European legal entities.
  • Review and approve monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
  • Coordinate statutory financial statements under IFRS, local GAAP, and Group reporting standards.
  • Analyze performance against plan, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate tax compliance, transfer pricing documentation, statutory reporting, and internal and external audits, including SOX requirements.
  • Lead local finance resources, cross-border initiatives, process harmonization, and finance transformation projects.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • English proficiency at C1 level or above.
  • 5–10 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Audit, including responsibility for multiple legal entities.
  • People management experience in an international, multi-country, and matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, IFRS, local GAAP, tax compliance, transfer pricing, and legal entity governance.
  • Advanced SAP and ERP systems knowledge, with strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
