Solutions Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to understand problems, identify use cases, and build proofs of concept.
• Own technical deployments from scoping and system design through implementation, rollout, and adoption.
• Connect hirify.global to customer systems using APIs, webhooks, data pipelines, custom workflows, and production-quality code.
• Run technical workshops, document implementations, and enable customer teams to operate solutions independently.
• Act as the technical escalation point, resolve production issues, and own customer on-call when downtime affects moderation.
• Identify recurring customer patterns and turn field learnings into reusable tools and improvements to the core product.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience as a software engineer, solutions engineer, or in a similar role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong Python fundamentals and the ability to read, debug, and extend backend code independently.
• Comfort with SQL, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
• Experience owning customer implementations, including configuring or customizing products and shipping production solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, take initiative, learn quickly, and deliver value in unfamiliar situations.
• No degree requirement; bootcamp graduates are welcome.

Nice to have

• Trust-and-safety or safety-operations experience, including specialized academic background.
• Consulting experience translating ambiguous client needs into working solutions.
• Familiarity with React Query or Strawberry.
• Experience being embedded with a customer or client engineering team.
