Insurance Risk Analyst

Location: Based in Manhattan, New York, NY or Livingston, New Jersey. The position requires access to export-controlled information and applicants must meet applicable US person, authorization, or export-authorization eligibility requirements.

Base salary: $83,000–$110,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Support renewals for D&O, property, casualty, management liability, and other insurance policies.
• Gather and validate exposure data, perform year-over-year variance analysis, and report and manage insurance claims.
• Process insurance policy and broker-fee payments, verify transactions, prepare disbursements, and obtain payment authorization.
• Lead applicable policy audits and manage the certificates of insurance process for vendors and partners.
• Maintain treasury policies and procedures and develop repeatable, scalable risk-management processes.
• Partner with Legal, FP&A, Accounts Payable, EH&S, brokers, carriers, and other external insurance relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1–2+ years of experience with an insurance broker, carrier, TPA, or agency, or an undergraduate degree in risk and insurance or finance.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets, including data manipulation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high standards of accuracy, precision, and organization.
• Must satisfy applicable US export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information.
