TL;DR
PC Tech Support (Hardware/Software Support): Providing onsite PC workstation installation, maintenance, and end-user support with an accent on hardware troubleshooting, software implementation, and client-side application support. Focus on assembling and repairing PC equipment, resolving network and workstation issues, documenting modifications, and supporting IT Analysts with technical resolutions.
Location: SRMC Campus; onsite role
Pay rate: $24.76–$34.27 per hour

What you will do
- Install and implement PC and workstation systems.
- Provide end-user support for PC hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with client-side implementation of PC client/server applications.
- Disassemble, reassemble, maintain, and troubleshoot PC hardware.
- Document modified or developed computer programs and support IT Analysts with technical resolutions.
- Participate in hardware and software standardization, equipment maintenance, and professional development.
Requirements
- Post-high-school vocational or technical education in a related field.
- At least 2 years of directly related experience in computer science, electronics, or a related field.
- Ability to perform heavy physical work, including occasionally exerting 50–100 pounds of force.
- Ability to work around minor hazards such as dirt, dust, fumes, and noise.
- Tuberculosis testing is completed upon hire and additionally as required.
