Staff or Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (Security)

Location: On-site in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, or San Francisco

Salary: $276,960–$363,510 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Build the program foundation for the Security organization.
• Drive vulnerability management from intake and prioritization through remediation tracking and verified closure.
• Establish repeatable Safety and Security by Design processes, checklists, launch gates, and accountability structures.
• Own security roadmaps, planning artifacts, incident follow-ups, corrective actions, and audit-readiness tracking.
• Coordinate dependencies and unblock work across Security, Engineering, Research, Legal, and IT.
• Help IT establish operational processes and tracking systems that it can run independently.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical program management experience.
• Significant experience running security, infrastructure, or platform programs in a fast-growing engineering organization.
• Experience building programs from scratch, such as vulnerability management, secure development lifecycle, or launch review programs.
• Technical depth to work credibly with security and software engineers on vulnerabilities, remediation trade-offs, and system dependencies.
• Strong influence and cross-functional execution skills without direct management authority.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 compliance and audit programs.
• Experience establishing IT operational processes, tooling, or service management practices.
• Experience as the first or founding TPM in a security organization.
• Interest in growing into a program management leadership role.
