.NET Developer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work in Minsk, Belarus

Salary: USD 1,700–2,500 gross per month

Company

Develops a client portal, back-office system, and other products for a financial broker.

What you will do

• Develop, design, and test server-side services and web applications.
• Build backend microservices for data aggregation and statistical calculations.
• Develop and maintain internal REST APIs using JSON.
• Create reusable code and libraries for future products.
• Translate user and business requirements into server-side solutions.
• Create simplified internal data views, including basic forms and tables, with support from the frontend team.

Requirements

• Commercial experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and common design patterns.
• Experience with SQL, LINQ, Entity Framework, multithreaded programming, and reflection.
• Experience developing REST APIs, working with JSON, and writing unit tests.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2022, bug-tracking systems, and version-control systems.
• Responsibility, motivation, willingness to learn, and the ability to understand the financial business domain.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating with payment systems such as Visa and MasterCard.
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, gRPC, background processing, asynchronous tasks, message queues, or event-driven architectures.
