Intern - Credit Review (Fintech)

Location: Fort Worth, TX, United States; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Investigate loan originations for fraud, misrepresentation, and documentation deficiencies.
• Review underwriting, funding, and account collection systems and apply relevant policies and research.
• Identify weaknesses in loan origination processes and recommend improvements.
• Support models, analysis, and reporting related to credit and collection activities.
• Monitor compliance with origination policies and prepare management reports with recommendations for operational efficiency and internal controls.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related analytical major, with at least one semester remaining at the start of the internship.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1 support.

Nice to have

• Junior, senior, or master's student classification.
• Previous internship experience.
