Global Platform Team Lead & Senior Director – Identity Security

Location: London or Lisbon; hybrid or on-site work model. Occasional travel may be required for leadership meetings, vendor engagements, or global team events.

What you will do

• Define and execute a global identity security strategy covering human and agentic AI identities.
• Lead modernisation of directory services, including Active Directory rationalisation and migration to cloud-based identity providers.
• Oversee Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, secrets management, and secure data capabilities.
• Develop standards and controls for service accounts, AI agents, non-human identities, and automated workloads.
• Establish identity observability, telemetry, SRE-based operational metrics, and 24x7 support for critical services.
• Manage budgets, vendors, platform architecture, compliance, and a globally distributed team across four identity security disciplines.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in identity security, IAM, or related cybersecurity engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role accountable for enterprise-scale identity platforms in global, hybrid environments.
• Deep expertise in identity architecture spanning directory services, PAM, IGA, and secrets management.
• Experience with Active Directory transformation, cloud identity migration, zero-trust identity, and non-human identity management.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, and identity-related compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across engineering and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or vendor-specific identity certifications.
• Experience with Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, HashiCorp Vault, Okta, Saviynt, or equivalent platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML security patterns for LLM-based agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience applying SRE principles, DevSecOps practices, and identity controls in CI/CD and platform engineering.
