Company
operates an international online gaming business with a large engineering organization distributed across multiple offices.
What you will do
- Drive technical excellence across the Brand Experience domain, improving stability, performance, code quality, and development efficiency.
- Lead front-end technical design decisions in alignment with domain architects and ensure architectural standards are implemented.
- Research technologies, lead technical investigations, and develop proofs of concept and documented technical designs for new products.
- Review major changes and pull requests, provide constructive feedback, and support important technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering colleagues across the organization as a key technical contact.
- Coach and mentor engineers, participate in technical interviews, team ceremonies, and technical training.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background focused on web applications.
- Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, observable technologies, and preferably RxJS or Signals.
- Experience with modern agile development, Git-based projects, CI/CD, web component frameworks such as StencilJS, and large-scale application architecture.
- Hands-on knowledge of SDK and front-end component architecture, modularization, application bundling, unit testing, and back-end API integration.
- Experience delivering high-performance web solutions, including SSR, CDN optimization, caching, and other front-end content delivery solutions.
- Strong communication, technical documentation, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with custom UI design system frameworks.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for front-end data tracking.
- Understanding of AI tooling and AIDLC practices, including responsible adoption and review of AI-generated code.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
