What you will do

• Lead and support 15–20 engineers and managers across multiple locations.
• Oversee direct and dotted-line reports ensuring alignment with other senior managers.
• Shape product vision and technical direction for VALORANT services and environments.
• Collaborate with geo-distributed teams across Riot and Tencent, managing time zone differences.
• Act as a hands-on engineering leader contributing across product lifecycle phases.
• Raise technical standards and refine processes to improve product delivery and operations.

Requirements

• Must have 6+ years as a software engineer in services development and 4+ years as an engineering manager.
• Experience driving technical direction and architecture at team-of-teams scale.
• Expertise in C#, Java, Golang or similar languages.
• Experience with Lean or Agile development processes.
• Experience with cloud computing and building large-scale backend or game services.
• Ability to work across multiple geographies and time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++.
• Leadership experience in multi-geo organizations.
