Claims Paralegal (AI)

Location: Remote for candidates based in the United States

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year for US-based candidates, plus potential variable compensation and equity.

What you will do

• Support the full claims lifecycle across GL, Cyber, D&O, Property, and Marine/Cargo insurance lines.
• Prepare carrier notices, gather client documentation, track deadlines and responses, and maintain claims through closure.
• Coordinate clients, carriers, adjusters, vendors, Claims Counsel, and Claims Managers.
• Organize policy forms, endorsements, correspondence, discovery, defense materials, and loss documentation.
• Maintain complete, accurate, audit-ready claim files and prepare loss runs, claim summaries, and dashboard data.
• Improve claims processes by building templates, checklists, and automated workflows with Claims Counsel, Operations, and Product.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience supporting commercial insurance claims, insurance litigation, or coverage matters in a carrier, law firm, or brokerage environment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail when managing multiple active matters, deadlines, and documents.
• Strong writing and communication skills for working with clients, carriers, adjusters, and outside counsel.
• Experience with claims or matter-management systems and an interest in automation and AI tools.
• Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with commercial policy forms covering GL, Property, D&O, Cyber, and Marine/Cargo.
• Experience with claims reporting, renewal narratives, or client program reviews.
