Avionics & Software Integration Specialist (UAV)

What you will do

• Flash and configure UAV subsystems, including flight controllers, ESCs, radios, and companion computers.
• Verify Serial, CAN/DroneCAN, and I2C bus communications.
• Perform sensor calibration, flight-mode configuration, ESC and motor testing, safety failsafe setup, and pre-flight checks.
• Diagnose integration issues using Linux command-line tools and system logs.
• Isolate faults across software, parameters, hardware, and wiring.
• Track aircraft status through the assembly pipeline and escalate technical blockers.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with PX4 or ArduPilot, including parameter tuning, firmware flashing, and sensor calibration.
• Daily experience using Linux, preferably Ubuntu, including command-line tools, configuration files, and system logs.
• Working knowledge of UAV hardware such as flight controllers, ESCs, GPS, and telemetry systems.
• Understanding of CAN/DroneCAN, Serial, and I2C communication buses.
• Basic soldering and crimping skills, multimeter usage, and strict adherence to LiPo and power-safety procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated test frameworks, scripting, or tooling for UAV commissioning and validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git, or embedded-systems software release processes.
