Health Information Operations Supervisor (Healthcare)

Location: Upland, California; support may be provided both on-site and remotely.

Salary: $21.25–$30 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead, train, motivate, and develop health information services staff across multiple locations.
• Maintain workflow, productivity, quality, and compliance with established medical-record procedures.
• Lead audit work involving requests from payors and manage requests from client risk management teams.
• Handle escalated calls and complex client issues while coordinating with location and client management.
• Review data, provide solutions to clients and leadership, and identify process improvements.
• Participate in projects and committees supporting operational strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of health information-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA standards and accurate, compliant medical-record handling.
• Experience leading, training, motivating, and developing teams.
• Ability to support clients and teams both on-site and remotely.
• Ability to present to leadership, clients, and teams by video or in person.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC or Cerner.
• Production or metric-based work experience.
• Team-building experience and a record of developing employees’ careers.
