Sr. Analyst

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; hybrid role with at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel across GCC and CEMEA markets may be required.

What you will do

• Lead regional localization strategy for in-person acceptance across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• Analyze regulatory, domestic scheme, and national payment infrastructure requirements and translate them into business, operational, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with regulators, central banks, national payment companies, financial institutions, acquirers, processors, merchants, fintechs, and internal hirify.global teams.
• Drive localization initiatives from requirements gathering and impact assessment through delivery tracking, testing, certification, and market readiness.
• Support domestic scheme enablement, co-badging, local routing, acceptance mandates, and national payment infrastructure projects.
• Prepare business cases, strategy recommendations, annual plans, KPI updates, and executive reporting on market readiness, risks, and dependencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in payments, merchant acquiring, card-present acceptance, payment processing, fintech, or related industries.
• Deep knowledge of merchant acquiring, card-present payment processing, transaction lifecycles, routing, switching, and acquiring architectures.
• Experience with EMV, contactless payments, NFC, SoftPOS, Android POS, mobile wallets, QR acceptance, ISO 8583, tokenization, and terminal certification.
• Experience translating market requirements into product, technology, and operational deliverables and managing complex cross-functional programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

Nice to have

• Experience working with regulators, central banks, national payment companies, or government stakeholders.
• Familiarity with OpenWay, BPC, Compass Plus, ACI, Fiserv, or equivalent acquiring and payment processing platforms.
