TL;DR
Category Buyer (Procurement): Supporting category and sourcing strategies, supplier qualification, contract management, and procurement operations with an accent on spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost optimization. Focus on leading RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, negotiating with suppliers, managing procurement data in ERP platforms, and driving sustainability and process improvement initiatives.
Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid schedule with 3 days on site and 2 days working from home. Working hours: 15:00–23:30.
Salary: €1,950–€2,700 gross per month.

What you will do
- Support category and sourcing strategy development and execution.
- Analyze spend, demand, pricing, and market trends to identify savings and value-creation opportunities.
- Lead and support RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers while supporting contract implementation.
- Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders on improvements.
- Track savings, prepare reports, support sustainability initiatives, and coordinate purchase order execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or purchasing.
- Experience with sourcing activities, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar.
- Understanding of RFx activities, supplier risk management, continuous improvement, and procurement processes.
