VP of Security & Infrastructure (FemTech)

Location: London; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office

Annual salary: £200,000–£220,000 GBP

What you will do

• Define and communicate the security strategy, roadmap, governance model, and shared security ownership culture.
• Oversee risk management, security architecture, product security, security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Own GCP and AWS multi-account architecture, Kubernetes, Terraform, developer infrastructure, and secure SDLC practices.
• Lead corporate IT, identity and access controls, hardware, collaboration tools, and automated joiner-mover-leaver workflows.
• Direct product identity and access management, authentication, session management, cryptography, and account safety initiatives.
• Establish security governance and controls for AI engineering agents and consumer-facing AI features.

Requirements

• Experience managing combined or parallel security and production infrastructure functions at consumer scale.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, Mobile, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver user-facing features.
• Successful ownership of external audits and certification frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or HIPAA.
• Deep technical experience with GDPR, automated data deletion, retention policies, DPIAs, and cross-border data transfer controls.
• Practical experience securing AI models, autonomous development agents, and automated permission and audit systems.
• Availability for hybrid work in London, including 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing consumer sign-in and protecting health or biometric data.
• Experience in offensive security engineering and mobile platform security.
