Operational Buyer (Procurement)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid remote/office with 2 home office days per week

What you will do

• Create, update, and monitor SAP purchase orders for combustion components.
• Track order execution, delivery progress, and compliance with quality requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics teams on transportation and customs compliance.
• Select suppliers and manage contracts, negotiations, and claims.
• Drive continuous improvement and align procurement activities with global and local commodity management teams.

Requirements

• University degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in operational procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP, particularly the Buy module, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English and Hungarian, spoken and written, is required.
