QC Analyst (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Waterford, Ireland; onsite at the hirify.global biopharmaceutical and medical device campus

Salary: €41,600–€62,400 per year

What you will do

• Provide analytical chemistry services for raw materials, intermediates, and finished batch releases.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and Planning teams.
• Maintain and issue chemical methods, specifications, and SOPs in line with pharmacopoeial and regulatory requirements.
• Trend analytical results, complete certificates of analysis, and conduct out-of-specification investigations.
• Ensure critical testing equipment meets IQ, OQ, and PQ validation requirements.
• Review chemistry test results, maintain quality records, support analyst training, and contribute to new product introduction projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Science, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• Operational experience in a quality laboratory within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, pharmaceutical manufacturing, cGLP, pharmacopoeial methods, and stability testing.
• Understanding of relevant quality and compliance regulations.
• Project management skills, including planning and budgeting.
• At least two years of HPLC and Empower experience.
