Maintenance Engineer (Food Processing)

Location: Larissa or Thessaloniki, Greece; permanent position covering Central Macedonia and Thessaly, with 70–90% of working time at customer sites and extensive travel across Greece.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on food processing equipment at customer facilities.
• Install equipment and support on-site troubleshooting activities.
• Use hirify.global Maintenance System tools to document service activities.
• Interpret technical documentation and follow global procedures.
• Represent hirify.global professionally and suggest improvements to customer operations and service delivery.
• Maintain safe, clean working conditions and follow occupational health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Valid mechanical or electrical license.
• High-level Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in food processing, manufacturing, or another industrial environment.
• Willingness to travel 70–90% of working time, mainly in Greece and occasionally abroad.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, accountable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Automation skills and experience with PLC programming.
