TL;DR
Cooling Engineer (Liquid Cooling) (Thermofluid and Hydronic Systems): Designing liquid cooling architectures for data-center applications, including CDUs, manifolds, hydronic loops, and heat rejection systems with an accent on hydraulic performance, heat transfer, and deployment readiness. Focus on sizing pumps and heat exchangers, validating systems during commissioning, developing configuration tools, and feeding field insights into product development.

Location: Dzierzoniow, Poland; onsite

Monthly gross compensation: PLN 9,583.30–19,966.70

What you will do

  • Translate customer requirements such as rack heat loads, facility water parameters, redundancy targets, and layout constraints into liquid cooling architectures and product recommendations.
  • Perform thermofluid and hydraulic analyses covering flow distribution, pressure drop, pump sizing, and heat rejection performance.
  • Support site surveys, design reviews, deployment planning, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.
  • Develop sizing tools, performance calculators, templates, and technical materials for system configuration and quoting.
  • Share customer and field deployment insights with Product Management to influence product roadmaps, reliability, serviceability, and future development.
  • Coordinate technical work across Product Management, Engineering, Services, Sales, and Field Application Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Ideally 3+ years of relevant experience, including hydronic system design.
  • Experience with heat transfer, heat exchanger design and sizing, and fluid dynamics.
  • Ability to design components and assemblies using 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks.
  • Experience with design and failure analysis tools such as DFMEA, DFM, and RCCM.
  • Fluency in English and Polish is required.

Nice to have

  • Materials Science degree.
  • Knowledge of psychrometric analysis, refrigeration, electrical systems, and electromechanical component selection.
  • Experience with NPI Stage Gate processes and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
