Embedded Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model. Up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area. A relocation package is available for candidates coming from another country.

What you will do

• Develop low-level software for embedded and real-time systems.
• Program C/C++ software on hardware processing platforms.
• Develop and integrate drivers and BSPs for real-time operating systems.
• Work with Linux, VxWorks, and/or PikeOS environments.
• Participate in critical-systems activities aligned with DO-178C.
• Collaborate on the integration of FPGA and video-processing technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in low-level programming for embedded or real-time systems.
• Solid C/C++ programming experience.
• Knowledge of Linux and real-time operating systems, especially VxWorks and/or PikeOS.
• Experience programming drivers and/or BSPs for RTOS, plus knowledge of hardware processing platforms.
• Basic assembler knowledge and experience with critical systems and DO-178C.
