Compliance Analyst (Crypto)

Location: Remote in Colombia, Bogotá

What you will do

• Maintain compliance policies, procedures, processes, and escalation frameworks in alignment with the MLRO.
• Review and verify client onboarding applications and perform four-eyes customer due diligence.
• Investigate escalations, transaction activity, unusual activity, AML flags, and potential financial crime risks.
• Conduct risk assessments, periodic and trigger reviews, enhanced due diligence, and complex compliance escalations.
• Coordinate with local and global Compliance, FCMI, Risk, Legal, Operations, Product, and other stakeholders.
• Identify risk patterns, policy gaps, process inconsistencies, and emerging typologies while ensuring decisions are documented and auditable.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in compliance, risk, fraud, legal, or regulatory functions.
• At least 5 years of experience with AML/CTF regulations and reporting.
• Industry experience in the finance and crypto sector.
• Degree in Law, Finance, Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Competence in data management, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and management.
• Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing organization and collaborate closely with relevant teams.
