TL;DR
P&C Solution Architect (Guidewire): Designing end-to-end insurance solution architectures across the Jutro Digital Platform, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and adjacent Zurich Solutions with an accent on architectural consistency, integration design, and compliance with architecture standards. Focus on evaluating technical alternatives, translating complex business requirements into implementable designs, and coordinating architecture decisions across enterprise architecture, security, delivery, and external partner teams.
Location: Oerlikon, Zurich, Switzerland; hybrid working with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end solution design across the Jutro Digital Platform, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and adjacent Zurich Solutions.
- Ensure architectural consistency and compliance with Zurich architecture standards, including ASD42.
- Evaluate solution alternatives and make technical decisions with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and delivery teams.
- Translate complex business requirements into solution designs and guide them through implementation.
- Serve as the central contact for architecture topics while collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, and external partners.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience as a Solution Architect in an agile insurance environment.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire systems, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, and Integration Gateway.
- Expertise in integration architecture, API design, cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS, and architecture frameworks including arc42, ASD42, or TOGAF.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Very good command of English and/or German at C1/C2 level.
