TL;DR

Backend Engineer (AI) (Python/ML): Building and maintaining backend services for AI dubbing platforms that serve multiple machine-learning models and integrate with AI providers with an accent on API development, infrastructure, reliability, and performance. Focus on integrating production ML models, optimizing inference bottlenecks, addressing technical debt, and potentially migrating infrastructure from Docker Compose to Kubernetes.

Location: Europe (EU, UK, Serbia)

Compensation: €6,000–€9,000 monthly plus stock options

Company

Develops AI dubbing technology for localization studios, combining speech synthesis, voice cloning, emotion transfer, and naturalness-focused dubbing.

What you will do

Own the backend serving multiple machine-learning models and integrating with AI providers.
Develop features for self-service dubbing tools and professional localization applications.
Improve infrastructure and collaborate with the web development team.
Integrate ML models into production with a focus on reliability and performance.
Optimize bottlenecks, refine APIs, and potentially migrate from Docker Compose to Kubernetes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of strong production experience with Python.
Ability to apply AI to real-world products and use cases.
Ability to address technical debt while maintaining a fast development pace.
Location: Europe, the EU, the UK, or Serbia

Nice to have

Experience deploying ML models in production.
Experience optimizing ML model inference.
Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience with AWS.
