Senior Software Solutions Engineer (AI/Integrations)

Location: Manila, Philippines; permanently remote. Must be willing to work during US business hours.

What you will do

• Architect and build robust API integrations between the platform and enterprise HR, payroll, and POS systems.
• Develop reusable integration frameworks, shared libraries, data migration pipelines, CSV transformation solutions, and internal tools.
• Own the full software lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, infrastructure, and production support.
• Build two-way payroll integrations with complex business logic, error handling, observability, and reporting.
• Lead technical discovery with enterprise clients and translate business and compliance requirements into technical specifications.
• Review code, mentor engineers, establish engineering standards, and collaborate with Product and Engineering on platform improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a related technical customer-facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs at scale, with hands-on knowledge of webhooks, OAuth, and workflow automation platforms such as Workato or Zapier.
• Proficiency with Terraform, GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tooling, GitHub, and collaborative development workflows.
• Demonstrated use of LLM APIs, AI tooling, or AI-assisted development workflows, with sound judgment about responsible AI adoption.
• Must be willing to work during US business hours.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with the ability to own backend services across the stack.
• Experience in SaaS implementation, professional services, or customer-facing engineering.
• Exposure to HRIS, payroll, or POS integrations.
• Experience building shared internal developer tooling or libraries.
• Familiarity with MCP or agentic AI frameworks.
