TL;DR
Technical Specialist (Network Engineer) (Network Infrastructure/Cloud): Designing and delivering secure, resilient end-to-end network solutions for a global enterprise with an accent on on-premises and cloud connectivity, routing, switching, and perimeter security. Focus on developing detailed network architectures, advancing automation and API capabilities, and maintaining infrastructure performance through proactive analysis and incident remediation.

What you will do
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for network projects and secure solution delivery.
- Develop high-level and detailed network designs covering security, resiliency, fault tolerance, sizing, and agility.
- Support and evolve on-premises and cloud network infrastructure through proofs of concept, lifecycle management, health analysis, and incident remediation.
- Advance automation, data and analytics, DevOps, API, and digital asset capabilities across Network Services.
- Define business requirements, processes, operational standards, and procedures.
- Create comprehensive engineering and architecture documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive network and information technology design and support experience.
- Experience applying network design lifecycle practices and industry methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, PfR, QoS, MPLS, DMVPN, and IPSec.
- Experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS, ASA, NSX/ESX, Nexus and Catalyst platforms, and ASR/ISR routers.
- Knowledge of data center, LAN, wireless, WAN, VPN, SDx, cloud connectivity, firewalls, load balancing, virtualization, and network security.
- Experience with Python, APIs, YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF, Ansible, Cisco NSO, Terraform, monitoring tools, and network management platforms.
Nice to have
- Professional or vendor certifications in security, cloud, AWS, Cisco, governance, architecture, process, or IT service management.
- Experience with Aruba, Gigamon, BlueCat, Check Point, F5, Splunk, ScienceLogic, LiveAction, AlgoSec, ServiceNow, Jira, Git, Bitbucket, and Scrum.
- Familiarity with WAN connectivity services from major telecommunications providers.
