What you will do

• Engage with national and international export control laws, regulations, and government authorities.
• Classify products, equipment, components, and parts for export and maintain restricted-item lists.
• Support export control activities across satellite programmes, including bids, licence applications, procurement, manufacturing, and export clearance.
• Prepare and maintain export control documentation, policies, procedures, directives, and training materials.
• Create SharePoint, webpage, and training content for business functions.
• Research trade compliance topics, regulatory changes, end-use countries, and customers to improve the export control function.

Requirements

• Undergraduate status must be maintained for the full 12-month placement.
• Studying toward a degree in Business, Project Management, or Data Analytics.
• Analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
• Successful candidates must complete a BPSS check and may need UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control clearance.
• CV and cover letter outlining motivation and suitability are required.
