Financial Reporting Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, disclosures, management reporting packs, and key metrics in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage group consolidation and collaborate with internal teams to ensure complete, accurate, and consistent financial data.
• Analyze significant financial variances and support the automation of reporting metrics and dashboards using reporting tools.
• Support external audits by preparing documentation, managing timelines and deliverables, and resolving audit findings and roadblocks.
• Provide financial support for debt financing, due diligence, company valuation, and financial integrity assessments.
• Assess new products and implement accounting flows, reporting logic, and controls aligned with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within financial services or banking.
• Experience managing end-to-end audit processes and preparing consolidated group financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial reporting tools.
• Experience supporting accounting assessments for new product implementations.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial modelling, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• ACCA or an equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with Tableau, NetSuite Analytics, Cursor, Power BI, or other automation tools.
• Experience in Islamic financing and Shariah compliance.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
