Senior Security Platform Engineer (DevOps & SIEM)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with agreed days at home and at the ING office

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop cybersecurity tools and platforms.
• Implement new solutions and maintain technical documentation.
• Maintain and develop RHEL and Windows-based infrastructure.
• Design and optimize patch management processes and automation solutions.
• Create complex pipelines and integrations in Azure DevOps and Azure.
• Collaborate with security, networking, architecture, and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and RHEL, including automation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and automation.
• Experience with Ansible, PowerShell DSC, and Bash or PowerShell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and CI/CD practices, including Azure DevOps Pipelines and YAML.
• Hands-on experience with EDR solutions and SIEM platforms; fluent written and spoken English at minimum B2 level.
