Vue-First Full-Stack (PHP/Laravel)

Location: Damascus, Syria; hybrid with home office for 20% of working time

What you will do

• Build and maintain internal administration applications with Vue and Laravel.
• Design APIs with a security mindset, assuming clients may be hostile.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and data models.
• Implement Laravel queues and background jobs using Horizon or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain AWS, Docker, and CI/CD integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience with PHP 8 and Laravel.
• Strong Vue experience sufficient to independently own an internal administration application.
• Good PostgreSQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Laravel queues and background jobs.
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and API design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Filament, Nova, or similar administration tools.
• Experience handling binary data in PHP, digital signatures, and key management with AWS KMS.
• Experience with connected products, IoT devices, anti-counterfeiting, serialisation, or track-and-trace systems.
• Experience integrating Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
