TL;DR
AI Automation & Workflow Engineer (AI/Automation): Building AI-powered automation systems, agents, and API integrations for real business workflows with an accent on Python or JavaScript, LLM APIs, webhooks, and production deployment. Location: Remote · Global; conditions mention Bogotá, Colombia. Availability during client business hours with required time zone overlap.
Salary: $12–13 USD per hour. Full-time at 40 hours per week or part-time at 20 hours per week.

What you will do
- Design and build end-to-end automation workflows with n8n, Zapier, Make, REST APIs, webhooks, and custom Python or JavaScript.
- Build AI agents with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Mistral, Gemini, and similar LLM APIs.
- Design agent memory, decision trees, tool use, context management, RAG, and vector-memory layers.
- Connect CRMs, databases, communication tools, and custom platforms, handling data flow, authentication, errors, and edge cases.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain lightweight agents using cloud functions, logging, alerts, and uptime checks.
- Document systems through SOPs and technical guides and train client teams to maintain them.
Requirements
- Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development, automation engineering, or AI systems.
- Independent coding and debugging with Python and/or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth or API keys, and at least one of n8n, Zapier, or Make.
- Experience building real projects with LLM APIs and strong written English for technical documentation.
- Availability during client business hours with required time zone overlap.
Nice to have
- GoHighLevel API or workflow experience.
- RAG, vector database, or persistent-memory experience.
- A GitHub portfolio or production AI agent and automation demo.
- Client-facing, agency, embedded, fitness tech, SaaS, or service business operations experience.
- Cloud deployment experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
