TL;DR
Python Developer (FastAPI, Travel-Tech): Building microservice-based travel-tech systems with an accent on FastAPI, asynchronous task processing, messaging, and PostgreSQL. Focus on developing reliable services with Celery and RabbitMQ, working across Python and Node.js/TypeScript components, and owning parts of the system.

Location: Remote from any point in the world or office

What you will do

  • Develop Python services with FastAPI.
  • Build and maintain microservice architectures.
  • Implement background processing with Celery or similar task queues.
  • Work with RabbitMQ and PostgreSQL.
  • Investigate and support workers written in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Own parts of the system and deliver solutions without unnecessary complexity.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Python, especially FastAPI.
  • Hands-on experience with microservice architectures.
  • Experience with Celery or similar task queues and RabbitMQ.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • Readiness to work with Node.js and TypeScript when needed.

Nice to have

  • Ability to ship solutions without overcomplicating them.
  • Comfort owning parts of a system and working with minimal process overhead.
  • English at B1 level or higher.
