TL;DR
Senior Java Developer (Fintech): Designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications supporting financial services in the Cards Technology domain with an accent on microservices, REST APIs, clean code, and application performance. Focus on solving issues in existing applications, collaborating in Agile teams, optimizing high-quality code, and creating technical documentation.
Location: Hybrid work from offices in Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, Poland, with 3 days per week in the office
Salary: 900–1,200 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications supporting financial business services.
- Collaborate with Agile teams and ARTs, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot existing applications and resolve technical issues.
- Optimize application performance and maintain high code quality.
- Create technical documentation for developed functionality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Java software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Practical knowledge of microservices architecture, clean code, continuous integration, and REST API design.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
- Availability to work from the Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa office 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- C++ development experience.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Knowledge of test automation concepts and tools.
- Experience with Kafka, Spring WebFlux, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
- Experience in the financial industry.
