Senior IT Analyst (Core Banking)

Location: Hybrid from offices in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warszawa, or Łódź, with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: 900–1,050 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into features, epics, and user stories.
• Manage the full requirements lifecycle from discovery through refinement and handover to development.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and other teams.
• Manage dependencies and support delivery in a large-scale banking transformation program.
• Build domain knowledge and contribute to the modernization of legacy systems into a Nordic core banking platform.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst and/or Senior IT Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Data Warehouse and reporting solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and data mapping.
• Banking-sector experience, preferably in a large and complex financial institution.
• Experience with large-scale transformation programs involving more than 300 team members, plus solid SQL or other data analysis and querying skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with core banking transformation or modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and cross-functional development teams.
• Knowledge of Nordic banking processes and regulatory requirements.
