IT Operations Engineer

Location: Hybrid from Gdańsk or Warszawa, Poland, with 3 days per week in the office

Salary: 800–950 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Own incident management and root-cause analysis from detection through resolution and preventive actions.
• Monitor production services, analyse logs and anomalies, and improve dashboards and alerting.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain stable and aligned pre-production and production environments.
• Create runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge documentation.
• Collaborate with development and platform teams, automate recurring issues, and support service continuity and disaster recovery exercises.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, application support, or a similar production-facing role.
• End-to-end incident management experience, including RCA and preventive actions, plus 2+ years working with ITIL.
• C1 English and experience working in Agile environments with development teams.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, CI/CD, Splunk, Sysdig, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Operational experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, ETL applications, REST APIs, distributed systems, Kafka, and Java-based solutions or integrations.

Nice to have

• Operational experience with IBM DataStage.
• Awareness of Pega or Airflow and willingness to learn them.
