TL;DR
Senior Android Developer (Kotlin/Android): Building and optimizing high-performance native mobile features for a large-scale e-commerce advertising platform with an accent on mobile architecture, responsiveness, and user interactions. Focus on designing scalable Android functionality, resolving performance issues, and delivering tested features with product, design, and engineering teams.
Location: Warsaw, Poland. Elastic hybrid/remote model with occasional visits to the client’s office once a week.
Salary: 125–150 PLN/hour B2B, or 1000–1200 PLN/MD + VAT.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy native Android features for a large-scale e-commerce mobile application.
- Build high-performance mobile experiences for the technological layer of ad delivery.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineering teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions while maintaining high code quality.
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Improve development processes, tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in native Android development with Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, unit tests, and integration tests.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and Git.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Good written and spoken English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-traffic mobile applications.
- Knowledge of RxJava/RxKotlin, Coroutines, or Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, Agile/Scrum, or open-source contributions.
